Required Knowledge
Joong Gun (Joon Gun) fought against the Japanese Empire for Korean independence. In 1905, when Korean was controlled by Japan, Joon Gun Ahn assassinated Hirobumi Itto, the Japanese Governor and General of Korea in the Halbin Railroad Station on October 26th. Joon Gun was arrested and executed in Lui-Shung Prison in 1910.
32 Movements represent the age of Joon Gun when he was executed.
Blue Belt represents the sky. As the plant grows strong, it becomes a towering tree, reaching for the sky and new heights. The student must focus his/her energy toward Black Belt.
Spin Hook Kick- the knee bends before and after making contact with the target. This kick is considered a medium to long-range technique.
A Spin Crescent Kick is usually considered a close to medium range kick with the knee never bending.
American Flag- the fifty stars represent the states in our country. The thirteen striped represent the original colonies and the chosen colors of the stripes symbolize the separation from England.
