Black Belt
Your hard work has paid off! Our Black Belt program is exciting and challenging. Each testing cycle we will study your ranking open hand form, a sparring combination, a one-step defensive combination, an advanced kick, an advanced take down and a weapon form. We have four sets of material which we introduce in succession every testing cycle (or about 4 months).
When you believe you may be eligible to test for your next rank, you will spend extra time and effort preparing for your test. You will be evaluated on the completion and excellence of your open hand form, the three weapons forms (Nun Chukka, Escrima and Bo Staff) and the secondary material of the current testing cycle. You must make an appointment to be evaluated for each element by calling the school. All evaluations are to be done within the current testing cycle before your expected test.
When testing for 2nd Degree, you will need to know all 1st Degree Forms, three FULL weapons forms (2 parts plus connector section learned at the senior level) and the secondary material from the current testing cycle.
See Mr. Paul about Third Degree.
